Can someone tell me where I can edit the SUBJECT for the email message I receive from the offline message?

I would like to set a marker so I know what the message is coming from.

Also, is there a way to set it so that the email messages comes with the reply-to set to the user so we can quickly reply to their email message? Or a way to pipe it into our support desk or give the visitor an option to click on a button that would take them to our support desk. Just thoughts.

Currently the only way to change the subject of the offline message email is to change it in the JLive! Chat language file which is located in:



Search for the following text around line 24:

NEW MESSAGE FROM=

Change the text to the right of the equal sign to your desired subject text.


Alternatively, you can also change the email subject text by editing:

/components/com_livechat/models/popup.php

Around line 1143... however changing the text this way is not recommended.



In regards to the reply address... the reply email address of the offline message is already set to the guests email address so you can just hit the reply action on your email client.
