It appears that the Jlive Windows Client may have a memory leak. When running the software for a lengthy period of time the memory usage goes sky high over 1GB.

We haven't experienced any issues with memory leakage with the windows desktop application, nor had we had any complaints. Can you attach a screenshot of the memory usage leaking (screenshot of your task manager)?

Also, please ensure you are using the latest version of JLive! Chat which is currently v3.8.0.

Yes, we have addressed this issue... we are only a few days away from releasing the new major version of JLive! Chat v4, which has been completely re-written to be high performance and we have resolved all bandwidth and memory consumption issues. In fact the new version has a very light footprint on CPU and memory and data transmission. We will be sending an email announcement when the new version is released and/or the JLive! Chat desktop application will notify you.

In regards to stopping progress... we definitely have not stopped progress, nor do we ever plan on stopping... we have been working really really hard on producing something VERY nice... JLive! Chat is currently the fastest growing livechat software on the net, so you can only expect it to get better and better from here. Rest assured, we are working full throttle, day and night, but quality takes time. Rome wasn't built in a day
