I have installed version 4 on my dev site and here are a list of issues that I am experiencing.

1. When installing the new component, it does not transfer operator keys, settings and history to the new version.

2. When installing and enabling the plugin, the pages that contain the Jlivechat module do not load.

3. I set the component up with one operator, one module for that operator and disabled the plugin to see if I can get it to work. Unfortunately, it still shows I am offline when I am truly online via the desktop application with the correct operator key. I can initiate a chat to the visitor from the desktop app but cannot get the site to show online.

That's the list I have thus far.
Love the new features though!

Thank you for reporting these issues to us!

Regarding issue #1... unfortunately, there is no backwards compatibility for versions before v4.0.1 mainly because we revamped the entire code base and database schema, and the entire data flow changed, therefore their was really no safe way to transform data from older JLive! Chat versions into the new version... so unfortunately, after upgrading from JLive! Chat v3.x to JLive! Chat v4, you will need to re-setup JLive! Chat as far as downloading your operator access key and adding it to the desktop app, resetting up your canned responses, and your chat history is not transferred automatically... however all the database tables for the old version remain untouched on your database server in case you need to reference them in the future. The old JLive! Chat database tables have a prefix of jos_livechat_ and they reside in your web-site's database.


Regarding all the other issues, we are looking into them now and will have a fix shortly (within the next few hours)... I will keep you updated here.

Same issue, all the operators are showing offline.
