Error: "Connection reset by peer" 1 Year, 1 Month agoKarma: 0
I just purchased JAdmin 1.5.2.2 yesterday. After I installed the component, plug-in and application, go my key and let it run for a while, I got these errors - hraworld.com could not be synchronized. Please generate a new key for this website and re-add it into JAdmin.  The error received as: (10054, 'Connection reset by peer').I got this error last night, re-generated a new key and then went to bed. This afternoon, after the site and JAdmin had been up for a while, I got the error again. What is wrong? Is it something I did or just perhaps a bug that is bugging me?Thanks for any and all help anyone can offer. Thanks in advance,Mickey

You may be getting this error because you do not have KeepAlive turned on in your webservers settings. If you have have apache edit your httpd.conf or apache2.conf file and change KeepAlive Off to KeepAlive On. Save the changes and restart your webserver.

You may also be getting this error because your computer's internet connection is being interrupted or can't access your webserver.

You may also be getting this error if you exit JAdmin! while it is synchronizing. If this is the case you can always re-download your key file and re-add it to the JAdmin! desktop application, and then wait for it to synchronize.

Thanks for the reply.I can't shut down/reboot my webserver - we are on a shared server. However, I can check with my server admin to see what the setting is.The other options, I'll have to watch more carefully and see if there is anything else "quirky" with my connection. If I can't resolve it following your suggestions, I will post back with my results. Thanks again,Mickey
