Hi,

I've encountered a problem with JTurbo and hope you can give me an idea of how to get around it. In both FireFox and IE, once I have scanned my file-base and uploaded them to the CDN ... I can not access the .htaccess changes because JTurbo's admin section hangs and I watch an hour glass which never progresses beyond that point.

What I hope to do is use the rewrite rules generated by JTurbo to get the most performance boost possible. BTW even with the offload option my site went from a grade of 56 with FireFox's YSlow to a 63 ... fairly impressive. Unfortunately I can never have JTurbo update my .htaccess because of this apparent hang.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide ...

Frank

Hi Frank

Are there any large files or folders that contain hundreds or thousands of files in your website? If so, large folders or files should be excluded from JTurbo by going to Components -> JTurbo -> Settings from within your Joomla admin.

Can you please tell me if the following file exists in your website root?:

/logs/jturbo.log.php

If so, can you please post the contents of the file here or email it to me at info at cmsfruit.com?

Thank you!

Hi Frank

Today we released a new version of JTurbo which basically fixes the issues you were originally experiencing with JTurbo. Please uninstall the JTurbo component and plugin you have installed now and then download and install v2.1 which is now the latest version from here:

www.cmsfruit.com/download/jturbo-profess...la-supercharger.html

After installing the latest version, proceed to scan and sync and if you still experience issues, please let me know.

Happy Holidays!
