Hi,

First congratulation for your extension.

I would like buy Jlive! chat for some websites, but I sill have some problems.

The Image of module Jlive chat kept "offline" in virtuemart.
Just on virtuemart because the rest of website, it does work.

Thanks for your answer

Hello abarreau,

Thank you for contacting us! The issue is most probably being caused by the online/offline image being cached on some pages and not on others depending on your cache settings.

Try changing the online/offline image to the following HTML code for the pages that are not working:

Code:

<a href="javascript: void(0);" onClick="requestLiveChat('/index.php?option=com_livechat&view=popup&popup=1&tmpl=component');"><img src="/modules/mod_jlivechat/dynamic.php?t=<?php echo time(); ?>" /></a>

or

Code:

<a href="javascript: void(0);" onClick="requestLiveChat('/index.php?option=com_livechat&view=popup&popup=1&tmpl=component');"><img src="/modules/mod_jlivechat/dynamic.php" /></a>

if you are not using it on a PHP page.

Please let us know if we can further assist you.

Thank you!

Hi abarreau,

We have also created a new online/offline module package which should automatically disabling caching if you are placing the online/offline image using your Module Manager. Please uninstall the JLive! Chat module you have installed now, and then install this new package:

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thank you!

Thank you very much,

But it's the same thing with the new module.
It's only on Virtuemart pages.

Must I use the HTML code of your first message?

An other question. Could you make the French image module?

Online: En ligne
Offline: Hors ligne

An other thing,(may be it's the same problem). Often the image has kept Offline at my customer but I'm online. On each page.

Hi abarreau,

Yes, please use the custom HTML code in my previous post instead then because it sounds like your virtuemart pages are caching the JLive! Chat online/offline image.

JLive! Chat integrates with JoomFish, so you can specify an alternate image to display per language by setting the value for the "Online Image Override" and "Online Image Override" within your online/offline modules advanced parameters. Then you can specift different values for "Online Image Override" and "Online Image Override" in Joomfish for all the different languages on your website.

Hi,

1- Have you an other solution, for my first question with virtuemart?

Because with Joomla! it's not very practice for a not free extension.

2- It's the same thing with Joomfish. I must integrate Joomfish just for 2 images!

3- My customers complain that Module Jlive Chat keep Offline, for them on every pages. So my customers can't use the live chat.

4- Could you answer at my question on "desktop application" in an other topic

You can try on www.ae-annonces.com/

Thank you for your answers.
