   I installed JLive! Chat on one of my websites with the plugin, the component and the module (Joomla 1.1.14, PHP 5.2) and installed the program (Mac OS X 10.6). All the sudden, the number of the who's online module started increasing in 3 visitors every 3 seconds (syncronization intervals) when it is actually not true, I was the only guest and in less than a minute it was up to 450 visitors. When I disabled it on the Joomla website, the number stopped increasing. Any suggestions on what is going wrong? The same thing happened with JAdmin! when I installed it on another website.


I added the lines to the .htacces but my website is on a hosting service and I can't find the httpd.conf or apache2.conf or www.mydomain.com.conf on the root directory so I guess I can't access that file to add the lines to disable the logging...


On the other hand, my Cpanel says the "Script executions exceeded on my account" that is, over 1600 in the last 2 hours, this is horrible and drastically terrible.


Any suggestions as to why?? If this doesn't get fixed I won't buy the extensions...

I have JLive and John has allways get back to me quickly by mail if i have had a support issue.

I apologize for the delayed response, but we have been a little tied up with development in the last week. In regards to the issue you are experiencing; are you experiencing this issue with JLive! Chat or JAdmin?

With both of them, but I'm already using another live chat component for Joomla.


It would be nice if J!Admin would work correctly though.

Are you using Joomla 1.1.14 or is that a typo? Unfortuanetly, neither JAdmin! or JLive! Chat are compatible with Joomla! 1.1.14, they are only compatible with Joomla! 1.5.x

I'm using 1.5.14
