Installed app.  Entered website and secret key in the desktop app settings.
Configured Router to forward port 5890 to my Laptop (xxxx.xxx.xxx.3)
Entered my Ext IP address in the Joomla setting backend.  (67.190.170.xxx).

Chat will not connect to the desktop.

Can you try issuing the following command from a dos prompt:

1. Go to Start Menu -> Run

 2. Type in 'cmd' and hit enter

3. In the black dos prompt  enter 'telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 5890', (Replace xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with your public ip address of the computer you installed the JLive! Chat desktop application on) and hit enter

If you get a blank screen, that means that port 5890 is open and accessible. If you get a failed attempt, that means that port 5890 is not accessible

Please post your results here

Can you also confirm that you entered the correct fully qualified domain name for your website, for example:if your website's domain is cmsfruit.com, and your website is also accessible via www.cmsfruit.com then you would have to add both domains into JLive! Chat. If your website is only accessible via www.yourdomain.com then you will only need to add www.yourdomain.com to JLive! Chat.
