Thank you for that information! We believe this error is being caused because you may have an accented character somewhere in the path where JLive! Chat stores its database, and JLive! Chat doesn't recognize the character. Furthermore, this is a bug and we have corrected in JLive! Chat v3.4.1. You can download the new version from our download section or below:

After downloading the new version, please uninstall the old component and plugin and then install the new component and plugin from within your Joomla! Administrator. Please enable the JLive! Chat plugin after installing it, since it is disabled by default. Then re-install JLive_Chat_Setup.exe on your computer and the error should be fixed.Please let us know if you run into any issues or if it works now.
